After assuming his role as the Head of Tec de Monterrey’s first Visual Design Program, Homero was entrusted with generating and coordinating a specialized laboratory dedicated to developing projects for visual design students, which he successfully completed in one year with the cooperation of his colleagues. The space was named Visual Design Lab, marking it as the first of its kind at the national level, a space entirely devoted to creating visual design projects.

As part of his responsibilities, Homero coordinated the establishment of the space, managed the allocation of resources for equipment procurement, and compiled the list of equipment investments for the laboratory.

The facility operates in two areas: the digital area and the area for printing and analog creation, as well as a space for a video wall and VR headsets. The room also serves as a classroom for visual design students at Tec de Monterrey. Homero also re-designed the space's interior with inspiration from the Digital Bauhaus Lab in Weimar, Germany, where he worked on projects with other media artists.

Notes:
Special thanks to all the colleagues, designers, and students that I have collaborated with over the years; your support and friendship is invaluable.
