Homero was commissioned for developing the brand identity for a new bar in downtown Monterrey. The bar owner, Rodrigo Romero, was looking to create a new concept, in which bars in Northern Mexico would focus on hospitality.

The result of the work gave the interior of the bar a post-industrial feeling combined with a clean, modern, pop aesthetic. Homero made the brand identity and collaborated with the designer Jesus 4lonso. The bar received recognition as one of the 50 best discovery of bars by William Reed and also one of the 30 best bars in Mexico by Shaker Awards.

Vini the bar is located in the central district of the city, a casual, cool spot. To begin with, there’s an array of sophisticated cocktails that are nevertheless fun and colourful, with eye-catching, Instagrammable garnishes. Bartenders get inventive with playful takes on classics such as the Pornstar Mojito, and larger-format cocktails are available too. Wine is a focus too, with bar food to accompany this appealing array of beverages – think dishes like chickpea ceviche or mini hamburgers. Beyond this food and drink offering, Vini the Bar is undoubtedly a party place too, with a schedule of DJ events and more.
